We’re pleased to announce that veteran product management professional, Vivek Bardwaj will be substituting for Alec Saunders to give the Keynote presentation that kicks off this year’s ProductCamp Toronto.
As Head of the Software Portfolio at BlackBerry, Vivek is focussed on ensuring Blackberry builds an incredible experience for BlackBerry users. Working closely with development teams he helps ensure features are built with quality and ultimately create compelling stories about what end users can achieve with their BlackBerry smartphone.
Prior to joining BlackBerry 7 years ago, Vivek worked at Siemens Mobile in the UK in Product Management. As the Product Manager for UK/Ireland, Vivek was responsible for delivering products into the market and worked closely with engineering, software development teams and sales and marketing to ensure the products were launched successfully with their partners.
According to Vivek, the highlight of his career to date has been sharing the stage with Thorsten Heins, CEO of BlackBerry, at BlackBerry World 2012 to introduce BlackBerry 10.

Toronto-based startup, Übermeetings is participating in ProductCamp Toronto 2013 and will enable attendees to interactively ask questions, answer polls, and submit ideas using their mobile devices. With this easy-to-use web platform, we’re looking forward to offering attendees some exciting new ways to interact during the event including polling, moderated Q&A, anonymous surveys, and virtual flipcharts. Saturday July 20 is the date for our 6th event at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. Join us for some great discussions on Product Development, Product Management, Product Marketing, Innovation, Startups and other related topics.
ProductCamp Toronto is a collaborative, user-organized, unconference focused on education, networking and open discussion around product management and related topics.
There is no cost to attend ProductCamp Toronto, but your participation is required to make this a great event. We’re starting to post presentation slides and other content related to the event on the 2012 Topics and Sessions pages. Photos from the event are being posted to the ProductCamp Toronto Flickr Pool.
Only 3 days until ProductCamp! Session topics that have been proposed to date and voted on by pre-registrants are now posted at Proposed Session Topics. You can still propose a topic and/or vote on Google Moderator.
We’ll be organizing the sessions into tracks and the final list will be posted at the beginning of the event on Saturday morning with an Open Grid for scheduling and last minute changes.
