As you know, ProductCamp Toronto depends on your participation and that means contributing your expertise to the sessions. Anyone that is interested in leading a session can submit a proposal.

Take a moment and think about something in product management that you are passionate about and can share, or some burning question you have that others might like to discuss with you.
There is nothing like leading a session at ProductCamp – it will be the most fun you can pack into a 45-50 minute conference session. ProductCamp is completely user driven. There is just you and your peers. Presenting at ProductCamp is fun, and an experience you will remember forever. Use this opportunity to polish your presentation and facilitation skills in a non-threatening environment, talking about problems that matter with people who “get it.”

If you want to share your knowledge, but want a shorter format than the full sessions, then try a “5 minute” IGNITE talk. These short talks give more people the opportunity to speak and share their knowledge with others. Propose your session topic and just mention “IGNITE” as your format.

ProductCamp Toronto is a collaborative, user-organized, unconference focused on education, networking and open discussion around product management and related topics.
There is no cost to attend ProductCamp Toronto, but your participation is required to make this a great event. We will be looking to you to lead a session or actively participate in the session discussions.

We only have 9 Session Proposals so far and 4 Ignite Sessions but there’s room for a total of 20 full Sessions on the schedule. ProductCamp is all about participation so if you’ve been thinking about proposing a session, please do it now!
Even if you haven’t been thinking about proposing a session, consider a topic, or issue, or situation you have experience with and could share. Think about a burning question that you would love to ask a bunch of product managers and engage in a lively discussion.

ProductCamp Toronto 2017 will be kicked off with a keynote by Diane Pierson, Product Strategist and Pragmatic Marketing Instructor. Diane will open this year’s ProductCamp Toronto with a review of the year’s key trends and issues distilled from discussions with hundreds of Product Managers all over North America.
Diane has over 20 years of experience delivering results in the big data, new media and digital marketing industries for companies such as D&B, LexisNexis and Copyright Clearance Center. She’s held multiple vice president and general management roles, and now brings a results-focused understanding and executive mindset to her role as a Pragmatic Marketing instructor.
Her efforts have been recognized by numerous SIIA CODiE and MarCom awards as well as appearances on KMWorld’s List of Trendsetting Products. Diane, her husband Tom and their siamese cat, Nick Nack, live in Austin, TX.
